Lowlands Farm SEN Therapeutic Farming Practices
Why not use our Farm as your outside classroom and reap the benefits of what we, our land, animals and knowledge have to offer.
Duration : 1 Day per week over school term
Time : 9:30 – 2:30
Price : £200 for upto 10 students (plus appropriate teaching staff).
At Lowlands Farm we offer therapeutic farming practices, using a holistic approach in a safe relaxing environment giving individuals or groups the ability to access a green space where they can interact with our alpacas, horses and other small animals.
We have already seen the positive impact the farm gives to our volunteers and schools that we work closely with. We aim to provide a calm, happy, positive environment for clients to gain a feeling of self worth, satisfaction and wellbeing.
We are working with LSA SEMH team and the existing successful programme is currently running into its second year. CLICK to read their endorsement of the positive impact this program has had with the students.
